Java Edition
Add the server using the address shown on your dashboard. Nothing else is needed — every system runs server-side, so there are no required mods.
Bedrock Edition
Bedrock players connect to the same address, using the Bedrock port. Add it as an external server in your server list.
You reach the world through Geyser, which translates between Bedrock and Java. Everything works, with a few differences covered in Bedrock differences.
Consoles
Xbox, PlayStation and Switch will not let you type a server address in at all — the Servers tab only lists Mojang's featured partners. There is a five-minute workaround and it is well worn: start at why consoles need a workaround.
If you are rejected
"You are not whitelisted on this server" means your whitelist has not applied yet. Give it a few minutes after approval. If it persists, open a ticket in
#support.
Check the version on your dashboard matches the client you are launching. Joining with the wrong version is the other common cause.
